Kristin Huls began her duties as the County Director for the
Adams/Brown/Hancock/Pike/Schuyler Unit in 2011. Prior to that she served as program coordinator for agriculture, horticulture, and natural resources in Hancock and McDonough counties from 2002-2006, and more recently for agriculture and community & economic development in Hancock County from 2006-2010.

She received a bachelor of science in agriculture business from Western Illinois University and a master of science in education from Western Illinois University. Huls has been involved with Extension nearly all of her life - as a Hancock County 4-H member for more than 11 years, with and serving as an Extension Council volunteer before becoming a U of I Extension employee in Hancock County in 1998.

Her County Director responsibilities include financial and staff oversight for the Adams-Brown-Hancock-Pike-Schuyler Unit, as well as program development and implementation in the five counties.
