Is there a national or Illinois State map or GIS that shows the quality and type of soil ? Anything that can be imported in Google Earth?

I am interested in Kane, Will and Kankakee Counties.

This is from the NRCS website. There is information for all 3 of the counties you mentioned, however, this may not be in the version you are looking for. I'm sure a visit to an NRCS office in any of these counties can result in access to the information you are looking for.
