We have squirrels that are stripping branches off a pine tree in our back yard. The tree is nearly bare. Is there anything we can do to prevent this. We are worried that the tree will die.

Is it a fully grown pine tree or just a small one? Are the squirrels building a nest with the branches or just leaving them under the tree?
