Is it safe to plant where I just dug up two New Dawn climbers? I have determined that they had the Rose Rosette disease. I want to plant honeysuckle vines.

Hi,

rose rosette is not persistant in the soil once a plant is removed but it may be found in any of the root portions that remain thus it could be a problem if you want to replant with another rose. Also this disease should not affect the honeysuckle if you choose to plant one there.
