bug attack

Ihave a double knockout. It was loaded with beautiful leaves and buds.Just overnite the leaves are covered with yellow spots and the buds are covered with webby substance and blackish color. I do not see any bugs at the sites . what attacked so fast? and can it be saved? Thank You!

Hi, I would be at a loss to give an answer without actually seeing the plant as diseaes don't work that fast and if you don't see insects then the only other thing is some type of abiotic such as spray, weather etc. If you cn send a photo or bring the sample to the extension office in matteson where they canlook at it that might offer a better chance to determine what it might be.
