We have a butterfly bush and a rose of sharon that experienced frost damage. What is the best way of seeing if we can save either plant ? Thanks for the help

Hi,
i don't think you have lost the plant. I would wait to see what resprouts before doing any pruning and then prune off the damaged material. You should have some regorwth from buds that are on the plant.
