We are wanting to plant grass on a berm that could be in place for a couple of years at our site and are looking for a hardy grass that will not require heavy maintainance. Preferably a grass that would not grow over 6 to 8 inches tall. Can you make a recommendation? If you have questions, please feel free to call me on my cell: 918-625-6536. thank you for your help. Hi,

you might want to consider turf type tall fescue.

This grass is often choosen for low maintenance areas but will still look fairly good when given minimal fertility and mowed high.
