Our well-establish Canadian Hemlocks began rapidly turning yellow and then brown on branches inside of the trees, from trees' tops to bottoms. We have watered all summer long.

Hi,

If the needles toward the inside of the plant are the only ones turning yellow and the outside of the plant still has foliage that looks good I think what you are seeing is natural needle loss that most conifers go through and it may just be a bit more dramatic with the drier conditions we have experienced.
