I have a healthy potted Bay Leaf plant (about 5 feet tall). I want to propagate from this plant. How do I do this, if possible?. Thank you

Hi,

Bay is not the easiest plant to root. Cuttings should be taken from semi ripe cuttings in late summer or early autumn. cuttings should be about 4 inches long and treated with a rooting hormone. Place cuttings in a container filler with a porous rooting media and then they should be kept very humid by enclosing the cuttings in some type of covering like plastic. Humidity is important.
