roots of quince

we had the stump and top roots of a quince bush removed by a stump remover now we have many patches of the plant growing up from deeper roots. we tried tp dig this out but they are so deep and everywhere. how can we remove them or keep them from growing

Hi,

The only way to deal with this is to remove as best you can any roots from which the shoots are growing. You could also spot treat those areas with something like round-up trying to be very selective so you don't kill off too much of the grass.
