I want to confirm a virus (mosaic) I suspect damaged my potted tomato plants last year that is damaging my seedlings this year. Is there anywhere I can send to confirm? Have found it in one or two seedlings and suspect that some overwintering plants and soils that I did not discard may have carried the disease over again this year. Thanks, Tom.

Hi,

The best way to confirm a virus would be to send samples to our plant clinic for evaluation and culturing. The following web site will provide all the information needed in submitting a sampe to the plant clinic at the Univ. of Illinois. web.extension.illinois.edu/plantclinic
