I have 8 pines about 30 yrs old in my backyard. I have 2 that are turning brown fast. Are they dying? How do i know its because of the drought or the have disease? Who do i call?

Tracey - White pines are usually pretty disease resistant, but with the drought and other stresses over the last several seasons, many of them are struggling. What kind of pine are they? Did you water them last summer? How often, and how much? You can take photos, and or bring a sample to your local Extension office, which is at 1040 North Second Street Rockford, IL 61107 Phone: 815-986-4357
