When are they due???? Thursday, September 1st at the Extension Office or emailed to abfox@illinois.edu What are they for???? So that you are eligible to win awards, trips, achievements, and service recognition. It also completes the learning cycle from your 4-H years goals.
What do I do???? All 4-H members should update your permanent record. If you have been in 4-H for three years or more, you should also complete a project application for your specific projects. These are available through your 4-H leader or at the Extension Office. You can also find them on our website http://web.extension.illinois.edu/bcjmw/ under Washington Co.

Touch of Nature Carbondale, Illinois October 8-10, 2011
This one-of-a-kind leadership convention has been planned by teens for teens! The program includes workshops, community service, dances, trust walks, trivia night, action auction, mixers, and games. The convention is open to all high school students and other teens not yet 19 years of age by September 1, 2011. Touch of Nature Environmental Center is part of Southern Illinois University. Located seven miles south of Carbondale on Giant City Road, this outdoor learning site features state-of-the-art cabins and beautiful educational settings. Register Early for the Discount Rate! Early-bird registration by September 2 is $150. Registration from September 3 - 9 is $175. Some scholarships are available to those who need financial assistance. Some special ˝ fee scholarships are available for teams of 2 – 3 teens from school clubs. All Southern Illinois youth who are in grades 5–7 during the 2011–2012 school year can attend. The $299 fee includes admission to all attractions, lodging at Embassy Suites Hotel, meals, charter bus transportation and insurance. This amount also includes a commemorative t-shirt.
