Speaking of the annual meeting, please mark your calendars now for April12, 2012. The meeting will be at St. Rose in the school cafeteria. An invitation will be sent sometime in March.

Local 4-H News from Elaine with 4-H
Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to share that skill with youth? Clinton County 4-H is looking for a few volunteers to work with a small group of youth in a knitting or crocheting special interest 4-H club (SPIN Club). This is a short term volunteer experience. SPIN Clubs just meet 6 times. The meeting schedule is totally up to the volunteers and group members. If you would like more information on volunteering with a SPIN Club please call Elaine at 526-4551.
Quilt Class from Barb Lammers
Do you have all those Christmas decorations put away and now that the holidays are over wondering what you are going to do? I have a suggestion – take a quilt class. I will be offering two classes in February – Lone Star which is a class for those that have some experience and Rail Fence for anyone that is just learning or has a little bit of piecing experience. Both classes will be held at the Extension Office beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a $20.00 fee per class. The Rail Fence class will be held February 20 and Lone Star February 28. If you are interested in either of the classes please call Barb Lammers at 526-7640 for more information or to sign up. If you know of someone that is not an HEA member and would be interested, please share this information with them.
