Liz Miller is the 4H Youth Development Educator for the University of Illinois Extension in the Bond-Clinton-Jefferson-Marion-Washington Unit. As Youth Development Educator, Ms. Miller's primary responsibility is the development, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs supporting the mission of the University of Illinois Extension.
Ms. Miller is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and has also lived in Florida and Oklahoma. She now resides on a beautiful acreage in rural Bond County, Illinois. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida, a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Master's Degree and Education Specialist Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.
Ms. Miller has worked in public school education for nearly 20 years as a school teacher and a school principal. Her public school background includes elementary and secondary teaching of diverse populations of students, including students identified at risk for failure. She is currently teaching future teachers in the Greenville College Undergraduate Teacher Education Program.
Ms. Miller is excited to work closely with unit county coordinators to bring quality educational programs to further enhance and enrich student learning.
