You're Invited to Explore our 4-H Federation Group

As the 4-H year is underway, you might find yourself wanting more opportunities outside of the regular routine of your local 4-H club. The perfect chance awaits you. Youth who are 8th grade or older and who are enrolled in a local 4-H club have the opportunity to join the Washington County 4-H Federation. This energetic group is active in the community throughout the 4-H year. This group participates in various activities related to recreation, fundraising, and community service. Past experiences have included:

- Ski/Tubing trip

- School's out party

- Bonfire/Scavenger Hunt

- Food stands at the fair shows

- Leadership roles in county 4-H activities

- Assisting with new club organization as needed and officer's training

- Winter progressive dinner/Holiday Caroling

- Summer trip (Holiday World)

- Blood drive and multiple other community service activities

- HYFS Adopt a Child Holiday Project

- Blanket Making Projects

- County Board Thank You Meal and Presentation

The Federation group usually meets on the fourth Sunday of every month at the Washington County Extension Office at 6:00 p.m. (unless it's a special activities month). We would like to personally invite you to come and find out what we are all about. Hope to see you soon!
