Dear 4-H'ers: 4-H Super Saturday is just around the corner and now is the time to start registering for this special event. This year there is certainly something that will be of interest to everyone involved! WHEN: Saturday, February 17, 2018 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Pizza lunch will be provided by the DeKalb Choreboys and Choregirls 4-H Club WHERE: DeKalb County Farm Bureau Building 1350 West Prairie Drive, Sycamore Super Saturday is designed as a discovery day, which offers many different types of educational and fun workshops. Each workshop offered tries to emphasize the 4-H motto "Learning By Doing". All 4-H members are invited to attend and to also invite a friend if they wish to. Enclosed is a brochure describing this year's workshops. You are welcome to participate in a maximum of five workshops. Please complete the enclosed registration form and return it to the DeKalb County Extension Unit, 1350 West Prairie Drive, Sycamore, IL 60178 by Monday, February 5 Each 4-H'ers registration materials will be given a number when they are turned in, and then numbers will be randomly drawn and workshops will then be filled accordingly. Hopefully if all goes well, a week or so prior to 4-H Super Saturday each participant will receive in the mail a letter listing what sessions they have been assigned to for the day. By mailing out information about each 4-H'ers assignments, we will hopefully ease the registration process as well as eliminate any confusion or frustrations. Please bring money to cover session fees with you on Saturday, February 17. Money will be collected at the time of checking in and registering for the day. Exact change would be appreciated. 4-H'ers are also encouraged to bring with them a backpack or bag to carry their belongings in during the day. Please make sure the backpack/bag has the 4-H'ers name printed on it somewhere. We certainly don't want anyone going home with the wrong bag or belongings. We look forward to seeing you on February 17! Sincerely, Nicole Groezinger Program Coordinator 4-H Youth Development
