5. Supporter/Contributor Information

We thank you for your interest in contributing to the 4-H Shooting Sports program. There are several ways that individuals, families, or organizations can contribute to the programs:

Financial Contributions

If you would like to donate to the general Extension budget to support all youth programs, please contact your local Extension office so we can be sure your contribution is directed to the appropriate fund.

If you would like to donate to a specific 4-H Shooting Sports program or activity, please contact your county's 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator or a member of the Shooting Sports advisory committee. Contact information for the Coordinators can be obtained by calling the local Extension office.

Donations of Equipment, Materials, and Facilities

If you would like to donate equipment and materials to the 4-H Shooting Sports program, please contact your local Extension office or Shooting Sports Coordinator. They can provide you with a list of needed items as well as University policies for storage and transportation of equipment.

Please note that 4-H, University of Illinois Extension, and 4-H Shooting Sports Clubs cannot purchase, accept permanent donations of, or store firearms under control of FOID. This includes .22 rifles and shotguns. Owners of these items who possess a valid FOID may temporarily loan these items to the club for use at a specific activity. Please contact your local Shooting Sports Coordinator for information and lease forms.

Individuals, organizations, or businesses with facilities they wish to donate/loan for the use during 4-H Shooting Sports activities, are encouraged to contact their local Shooting Sports Coordinator and let them know what is available. You may also contact your local Extension office for information on liability and certificates of insurance.
