Classes are held in the Marshall-Putnam Extension Computer Lab located in the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau building at 509 Front ST, Henry, IL

Class sizes are small and the pace is set based on the experience levels of the participants.

The lab is open to the public during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Class fees are distinguished between members and nonmembers. Members are one of the following:

Prepare your Christmas letters, labels, pictures and cards using Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Picasa and online photo ordering.

Online Taxes

Learn to navigate the websites of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) to find helpful information when preparing your tax return. Also learn options for electronic filing. New tax laws and requirements will be discussed, including information on Form 1099, payroll tax reporting and credits, and items to consider when preparing Schedule F.

Advanced Excel

Advanced tools and capabilities of the Microsoft Excel program such as look up functions, IF statements, mail merger and worksheet templates.

One-on-One Training

Individualized training can be scheduled, with computer instructors, by contacting Anita Wilkinson at the M-P Extension Office, 309-364-2356. She will match your training need with the instructor best suited. Fees are $20 per hour, available during regular business hours.

Businesses or Groups

Groups of 6 to 18 may schedule a computer course in the M-P Extension Lab. Extension staff will work with the group to either design a class to meet their needs or have the lab available for the group to use with their own instructor.
