4-H Pollinators Workshop

Each participant left with "Burpees Bee Garden" seeds packet to start their own pollinator garden!

We disected and learned about the parts of a flower and where the pollen is located.

Particpants looked at a honey bee under the microscope and learned about insect characteristics.

Participants saw the parts and set-up of a hive.

4-H Member, Rachel, explains how her hive operates and how she cares for the bees.

We even made a tasty treat with the symmetrical characteristics of insects!
