"Where in the World am I – Techno Treasure Hunter" is a 4-H SPecial INterest (SPIN) Club for youth 8-12. If you like being outdoors, treasure hunting, and using gadgets,why not become a "Techno Treasure Hunter." Treasure Hunters will use GPS technology to map points of interest at the McCully Heritage Project in Kampsville, treasure hunt and play games.

Pond weed management, fish stocking and management, and pond aeration will be the focus of a pond management workshop on June 4, 5:30 pm, at the Rick Batterton home north of Jacksonville on Route 78, just north of Valevue subdivision. See a pond shocking demonstration, and have your pond questions answered by an IDNR fishery specialist and Extension educators.

Recipes for Diabetes - A website of 146 recipes of main dishes, side dishes, breads and desserts that are appropriate for people with diabetes. Each recipe contains an approximate nutritional analysis for calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat, saturated fat, fiber, sodium and cholesterol. The site was developed by Karen-Chapman-Novakofski ( Extension Nutrition Specialist).
