The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education ( SNAP-Ed) is nutrition education that is available to SNAP recipients and other limited-resource individuals and families. We know that the healthy choices are not always the easy choices, especially on a limited budget. This is why we focus on reaching our program participants where they are in their own communities. Through nutrition and cooking classes, interactive displays, and online resources, we provide knowledge and teach the skills necessary to our clients in order to help them make healthier meals, spend their food budgets effectively, and make healthy living a natural part of their day.
