Ag Awareness Conference - February 8, 2010

Make plans now to attend the 2010 Ag Awareness Conference to be held in Bloomington, IL on February 8, 2010. The 9th annual Illinois Agriculture Awareness Conference is an opportunity to bring agribusinesses, agricultural literacy professionals, and formal educators together to increase their knowledge about agriculture and education while building a greater network. By providing opportunities to Renew Your Energy in Ag Literacy, participants will walk away with more knowledge about the agriculture industry as well as inventive, hands-on ways to incorporate that knowledge into the classroom.

The Keynote Speaker for the day is John Caupert who is the Director of the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Center (NCERC) located in Edwardsville, IL. John's responsibilities include administration and strategic direction of the NCERC. John oversees funding of the NCERC as well as coordinator of staff, plant, and laboratory operations, community and industry interaction, and outreach.
