This morning I finished my first of several soybean presentations that will take place during the months of October and November. Students and teachers who take part in this presentation will learn about the life cycle of a soybean, what soybeans are used for, and conditions soybeans need to grow. Activities include dissecting a soybean to find the different parts, watching clips from the Illinois Soybean Association's Bean Team videos, setting up an experiment in growing soybeans, and tasting soy milk. To schedule a presentation for your classroom contact Aimee at 815-268-4051.
