Over 600 youth in Ford and Iroquois Counties participate in a 4-H club. There are 25 clubs in the two counties and 4-Hers are assisted by over 300 adults. These volunteers provide guidance and supervision in more than 200 project areas. We invite 4-H volunteers to participate on planning committees and in events.
Over 3,000 exhibits are cared for or created by youth, ages 8-18, who have the opportunity to showcase their projects by exhibiting at either the Ford or Iroquois County 4-H Show (Fair).
4-H membership is not limited to community clubs, but is open to all youth through school enrichment curriculum that is offered free of charge to area classroom teachers. In addition, the Welcome to the Real World program affords high school seniors the opportunity to match career choices to desired lifestyles.
