4-H Jersey County
4-H Youth Committee
The 4-H Youth Committee consists of at least 2 4-H members (high school age) from each of the community clubs. Youth meet quarterly to provide input into the local 4-H program. These youth also provide leadership at workshops, events and during the fair.
The 4-H Committee reviews the status of the 4-H program, determines ways to expand and reach new audiences, and then re-evaluates progress toward the expansion goals identfied by the committee. The committee helps create and implement a plan to reach targeted groups.
The Jersey County Review Committee meets four times a year. The committee is made up of 4-H members, parents, leaders, community leaders and former 4-H members. New members are always welcome!
4-H Livestock Committee
The 4-H Livestock Committee's purpose is to enhance the livestock projects by providing guidance and resources to the 4-H youth enrolled in the livestock projects. This group meets once a year. New members are always welcome!
