Extension to Host Final Community Revitalization Planning Meeting in Nokomis

Monday, May 16, 2016 the University of Illinois Extension, in conjunction with the Downtown Nokomis Association, will hold its fourth and final Town Hall Meeting in Nokomis for the downtown and community revitalization action plan.  The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the former Knights of Columbus Hall at 115 S. Spruce St. Nokomis, IL.

The goal of the fourth meeting is to set project priorities, develop action plans with timelines, and establish sub-committees.  All those from the Nokomis area are encouraged to participate.   Carrie McKillip, University of Illinois Extension Community Economic Development Educator, will facilitate the meeting and guided the group in developing its action plan.
