Montgomery County 4-H Invite Local Youth to Summer Painting Workshop
May 18, 2016
Explore! Create! Learn! That is what young artists can expect from the upcoming 4-H painting workshop. Youth are invited to join in the excitement this summer as they gain experience and learn about still life art. This year participants will create their own painting of a cupcake. The workshop will be held at the Montgomery County Extension office in Hillsboro, June 6th, from 9:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m., and is open to any youth 8-18 years of age. Participants do not have to be enrolled in 4-H to participate. The cost of the workshop is $5. Fee waivers are available if needed. Please register early as each session is limited to fifteen youth.
Participants can register online at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/cjmm/ or by calling the Montgomery County Extension office at 217-532-3941. 4-H empowers youth to try new things and discover their interests through hands-on learning. Those interested in learning more about 4-H may contact the Montgomery County Extension office at 217-532-3941 or online at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/cjmm/.
