Macoupin County Garden Tour Coming June 24
June 20, 2017
The Macoupin County Master Gardeners will host a garden tour on Saturday, June 24. The self-guided tour will open at 10 am and end at 3 pm. Beautiful, private residential gardens in the Carlinville area will be featured on the Garden Tour sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension Macoupin County Master Gardeners. The 2017 tour includes the gardens of Wanda & Jim Dixon, Ellen & John Eldred, Jim Kahl & Leola Still, Susan Tongate, Carmen & Bob Vercoglio, and Cinda & Carl Zeidler. The gardens may be toured at the leisure of the ticket holders in any order they like.
The garden tour goes on rain or shine. Tickets are just $10 per person and may be purchased in advance at the Macoupin County Extension office at #60 Carlinville Plaza in Carlinville, or at or at the Macoupin County Courthouse in Carlinville on the day of the tour.
The tour benefits the U of I Master Gardener activities and the many educational programs offered for the public, like the gardens on the courthouse grounds. For more information telephone 217-854-9604 or visit the Macoupin County Extension office website at www.web.extension.illinois.edu/cjmm.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, please contact the Extension office. University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.
