Youth make Bread in a Bag at 4-H Workshop in Macoupin County

University of Illinois Extension Macoupin County 4-H hosted two youth Bread Making Workshops on Thursday, July 27.  The workshops included demonstrations and hands-on learning. Youth practiced kitchen safety, followed basic instructions from a recipe, identified measurements and mixed ingredients, and practiced the skill of kneading bread. Each participant prepared a loaf of bread to take home and bake to share with their family.
