Seven Jersey County 4-H Clubs competed in a contest to see which club could design the most popular bench during the Jersey County Fair. Money was collected in containers with a picture of each club's bench. Green and Gold Clovers won with donations of $68.80. All-American Clovers came in second with $68.01, Eastside Farmhands in third with $47.25, Lone Star in fourth with $31.30, East Side Kids in fifth with $18.19, Jersey Hoofbeats in sixth with $10.07 and Bits-N-Spurs in seventh with $9.25. A total of $252.87 was collected. Of that, the Jersey County 4-H Foundation received $168.58 and the winning club $84.29. Thanks to all our clubs for their outstanding benches. They were a popular addition to the fair.
