Does the clutter in your house cause you stress?  Do you want less clutter but are too overwhelmed to begin?  Do you have a plan for your non-titled property?  Have you ever thought about the legacy you will leave for your family?  The University of Illinois Extension Let’s Live Well series can help you find the answers to these questions and more!

University of Illinois Extension offers programs create learning partnerships that put knowledge to work and aim to make life better, healthier, safer, and more profitable for individuals and their communities.  Join Extension Educator, Karla Belzer for a three-part series featuring timely, researched informed information to help you live well!  All series sessions will be held at the Thomson Public Library, 1005 West Main Street, in Thomson and are free and open to the public.

“Simplify Your Life By Clearing the Clutter” will be offered on Thursday, October 19th at 10 a.m.  This session will feature practical ways to help you de-clutter and de-stress.

The second session of the series, “Who Get’s Grandma’s Pie Plate?,” will be offered on Thursday, November 2nd at 1 p.m.  Provided in partnership with the Carroll County TRIAD, this session will include an open discussion on non-titled property and other legal issues for adults.  Emily Hardy, lawyer with Prairie State Legal Services, will present information on Advanced Directives.

The final session of the series, “Stories from the Past – A Legacy for the Future,” will be offered on Tuesday, December 5th at 10:30 a.m.  This session will help participants understand the history of storytelling and help explore ways to preserve individual and family stories for future generations.
