MFP Meeting - April 15 - With Special Guest Speaker, Linda Braam of IL NET

Happy Spring Master Food Preservers!

It is about that time for another meeting. PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT be meeting at Gary Comer Youth Center. It was hard trying to firm things up there. We will meet at our regular location Ag. School - 3807 W. 111th St. from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

We have a special guest speaker!!!

Linda Braam will be presenting this IL NET training for you next Thursday evening. The workshop is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. The presentation is entitled, Multicultural Make and Taste, which provides teaching strategies and hands-on food activities that serve as a springboard to cultural exploration and nutrition education in the classroom, as well as provide children with the opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity.

PLEASE NOTE: The presentation will include a tasting so bringing potluck is optional.
