Posted by Ron Wolford -

Bremen High School students will be participating in an Inquiry Adventures field trip to the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center on October 8. The Inquiry Adventure will be lead by Cook County Extension S.T.E.M. Educator, Sue Gasper, other Cook County Extension staff and volunteers.

Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center
9800 Willow Springs Rd.
Willow Springs, IL 60480 (Cook County)

During an Inquiry Adventures field trip, small groups of 5 to 8 youth investigate various aspects of Cook County's natural areas under the guidance of Extension and Forest Preserve staff and trained Master Naturalist or Master Gardener volunteers. The youth choose their own topic to investigate based on their observations of the nature site. Popular topics include tree surveys, insect counts, pond dips, studies of decaying logs, and plant surveys - but the possibilities are ENDLESS.
