Summertime is a Great Time to Learn Something New!

All week, K-12 teachers from the Chicago area filled our Extension office in Westchester to engage in a variety of professional development topics. With eager educators excited to share lots of great information with them, teachers engaged in workshops that focused on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), math games, engineering, animal science, bullying prevention, culturally responsive teaching, and teaching diverse temperament and learning styles!

A west suburban teacher who attended my "Real Teaching with Real Colors: Exploring Diverse Learning Styles" workshop yesterday, commented that she had "never had so much fun and learned so much at the same time."

Are you looking to learn new teaching strategies for the 2014-2015 school year, and want to have tons of FUN while doing so? Well, register now for the 2014 Summer Enrichment Institute! Do not delay, space is limited. However, openings are currently available for the July courses, which will be held in Chicago.
