University of Illinois Extension is excited about offering our Fourth Summer Teacher Institute. New workshops have been added to address the needs of pre-K to 12th grade teachers. Workshops cover a wide range of topics from biology and chemistry to math, health, and social emotional learning. In addition Extension is partnering with the Cook County Forest Preserve District to provide training experiences for teachers this summer and sponsored field trips for their students in the coming school year.
Workshops will be offered from June 17 - August 9. Teachers will receive 3 CPDU credits for each workshop. The deadline to sign up for the June courses is June 10 and for the July and August courses the deadline is July 10.
