  • Kendall County 4-H Pork Chop Dinner

    Friends of Extension and Kendall County 4-H Foundation are holding their Annual 4-H Pork Chop Dinner on July 20 at the Kendall County Fairgrounds. 4-H members have tickets available for sale or stop by the Extension Office before July 6.

The Kendall County Fair Benefit Golf Outing will be on June 19 at Bliss Creek Golf Course. Enter to play for $85, includes golf, a cart, and steak buffet. Entry deadline is June 6.

If you're a resident of Kane County you can receive a free, one-on-one consultation with a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener volunteer about plant diseases, pest control, lawn care, and flower and vegetable gardening. Master gardeners hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM-2 PM through the month of March. In April they will be available Monday through Friday from 10 AM-2 PM at the Horticulture Help Desk at the Extension Office at 535 S. Randall Rd in St. Charles. The public can stop by the office or call 630-584-6166 ext 23 to connect with a Master Gardener.
