Jessica Gadomski is an Extension educator with the Illinois Nutrition Education Programs (INEP) and a registered and licensed dietitian, serving DuPage, Kane and Kendall Counties.

Gadomski earned a bachelor's of science in nutrition, dietetics and hospitality administration from Northern Illinois University, minoring in public health. After completing her dietetic internship and attaining a master's of science in nutrition and dietetics from Northern Illinois University, Gadomski began her work and passion for community nutrition, working in a variety of nutrition settings focused on preventative care and optimizing nutrition among all audiences of varying needs and economic levels.

Gadomski's work with Extension continues to fuel her passion for nutrition and working within the community. Through assisting organizations servicing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligible population with policy, systems and environmental changes, Gadomski is able to interact and provide current, research-based education and resources in the areas of: nutrition, physical activity and creating healthy environments.

Gadomski collaborates with local and state Extension staff, as well as actively participates in community coalitions, partnerships, and statewide efforts to support endeavors surrounding obesity prevention, nutrition and physical activity.

Gadomski's expertise includes: nutrition, maternal and early childhood health, food safety, school wellness, Smarter Lunchrooms, reimbursable meal requirements and the WIC program.

Gadomski is a member of the Academy of the Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health and Community Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, School Nutrition Services Practice Group, and Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Gadomski is also a Certified Food Service Sanitation Manager, issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
