Macon County Tip of the Week

Growing your own vegetables continues to rise in popularity. Think you have no space for a vegetable garden? Consider containers. Crops like lettuce and radish can be grown in many different sized pots-- even hanging baskets to keep them from the rabbits. Larger plants need larger volumes of soil-- a full-sized tomato plant needs at least 5 gallons of soil.
