Gather Around the Table for Wits Fitness Brain Training in Piatt County

Sometimes the best discussions happen around the table while enjoying a meal. This September during Healthy Aging Month, join DeWitt, Macon and Piatt County Extension and Family Life Educator Cheri Burcham Around the Table to talk cognitive health in Wits Fitness Brain Training.

Keep your brain healthy with fun activities designed to get you thinking and also maintain and enhance cognitive function and memory from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 12 at the Piatt County Extension Office in Monticello. Participants are welcome to bring a brown bag meal to eat during the program.

The final class in the Around the Table series is Diabetes Meal Planning in Clinton. During American Diabetes Month, learn how to plan your meals with the help of a dietitian from 6 to 7 p.m., November 2 at the Vespasian Warner Public Library, 310 N. Quincy St. in Clinton. Register by October 31 by calling the library at 217.935.5174.
