Franklin/Jackson/Perry/Randolph/Williamson Unit (Main Office)


From Carbondale take Route 13 West into Murphysboro. Turn right onto Route 127 North at the stoplight by Hardee's. Proceed north approximately three miles to Ava Road. Watch for Ava Road when you see signs that the highway will narrow down to two lanes. Turn left onto Ava Road. Travel nine-tenths of a mile and University of Illinois Extension is on the left side of the road.

From Mt. Vernon, take Interstate 57 South to the Benton exit. Take Route 14 West to DuQuoin intersection with Route 51. Turn left onto Route 51 and travel south to DeSoto. At four-way stop in DeSoto, turn right onto Route 149. Take Route 149 into Murphysboro. At 127/149 intersection, turn right heading north on 127. Go approximately 2 miles to where road narrows down to two lanes. Turn left onto Ava Road and U of I Extension is ninetenths of a mile on left.

From St. Louis, take Interstate 64 to Route 127 at the Nashville, IL exit. Travel into Murphysboro by Route 127. Look for Ava Road to be on your right just as Route 127 changes to four lanes. Turn right onto Ava Road and U of I Extension is nine-tenths of a mile on left.


Franklin County Office


From Interstate 57, take exit 71 and travel west approximately one mile on Route 14. The Extension office is on the south side of the highway, directly south of Franklin County Farm Bureau/Country Financial. If using a GPS or online map, please use: 1212 Ag Street.

Williamson County Office


From IL Route 13, go south on IL Route 37 (Court Street). From Court Street, turn left onto West Main Street. We are five blocks down on the right in the brick building across from the First United Methodist Church.

Perry County Office


We are located in the lower level of the Perry County Government Building on Route 13/127 just south of Pinckneyville.

Randolph County Office


From the south:

Take State Highway 4 North until you reach Belmont Street. Turn west onto Belmont. The office is on the north side of the road in the Randolph County Complex Building (across from the Randolph County Nursing Home).

From the north:

Take State Highway 4 South until you reach Belmont Street (you will jog around the downtown area). Turn west onto Belmont. The office is on the north side of the road in the Randolph County Complex Building (across from the Randolph County Nursing Home).

From the east:

Take State Highway 154 west until you reach State Highway 4 South in Sparta. Take Highway 4 South, then turn west onto Belmont. The office is on the north side of the road in the Randolph County Complex Building (across from the Randolph County Nursing Home).

From the west:

Take State Highway 154 East until you reach State Highway 4 South in Sparta. Take Highway 4 South, then turn west onto Belmont. The office is on the north side of the road in the Randolph County Complex Building (across from the Randolph County Nursing Home).
