SUMMIT RESCHEDULED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER DETAINING MINNESOTA PANELISTS

Due to severe weather in St. Paul-Minneapolis, Our three presenters, Julie Ristau (former co-chair of On the Commons & Homegrown Minneapolis), Gayle Prest (Sustainability Director, City of Minneapolis) and Kristine Igo (Associate Director, Healthy Foods, Healthy Lives Institute –UMN) are not able to come to Peoria for the Seeds2Success - Planning for Community Sustainability, Greater Peoria Regional Food Summit event tomorrow, February 22.

The good news is that the Summit has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 29. It will be held at the same location, RiverPlex Recreation and Wellness Center, 600 NE Water Street in downtown Peoria and will also be held at the same time, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

If you are able to attend on March 29, you don't have to do anything. If you are not able to attend, please contact Christine Belless cbelless@illinois.edu and your registration fee will be refunded.

We regret that we had to reschedule the event and look forward to seeing you at the Summit on Saturday, March 29.
