Fulton County 4-H General Show Held

Fulton County 4-H General Show was held Saturday, July 14th, at the Living Springs Camp Multi-Purpose Building. Four hundred twenty-three projects were exhibited by Fulton County 4-H members age 8-19. Almost 100 area people served as judges, superintendents, and helpers.

4-H members' projects are judged conference-style. If the 4-H member is present, he or she brings the project to the judge, and the judge discusses the project with the member, asking questions and offering suggestions. This one-on-one attention and advice is very valuable to the 4-Hers as a way to learn more about their projects.

The projects are rated Blue (Superior), Red (Good), or White (Fair). Best of Show winners are selected in each area. State Fair delegates and alternates are selected in most of the project areas.
