Master Gardeners Tour SRC Garden

July 23, 2012

Jeff Bash, Agriculture Instructor at Spoon River College, welcomed an enthusiastic group of U of I Extension-Fulton County Master Gardeners and Spoon River Garden Club members who braved the heat and toured the hoop house and garden area at SRC.

Bash shared strategies for garden success in the hot dry conditions and growing tips for Fulton County soil. He also discussed the Farmers Market held at Canton's Jones Park Saturday mornings where fresh produce is available for purchase.
