Kathy Meier, Family Nutrition Program community worker, assisted mentally/physically-challenged residents of Valle Vista Apartments, Pekin, in creating a "Pizza & Herb Garden." Tomatoes, vegetables, and herbs were planted in elevated containers for improved accessibility. Funding for supplies was provided by Knights of Columbus in Pekin and Morton.
