During the month of February 4-H members in the Fulton, Mason, Peoria, Tazewell Unit are invited to make the 4-H Pledge come alive. In today's tough economic times more families than ever are visiting our local food pantries. For some families it can be a struggle just to supply the necessities for everyday living let alone the extras that come along like birthdays and holidays, etc.
To help meet this challenge the 4-H members and clubs in Fulton, Mason, Peoria & Tazewell Counties are invited to participate in a Unit wide community service project. The goal of the project is to provide "Birthday Bags" for families in need. All of the "Birthday Bags" collected will be delivered to local food pantries in the county where they were collected.
