Egg Drop Challenge
At the February Federation meeting, the members were challenged to work as a team and create a safe for their raw egg. The two teams were given 25 straws, an index card, paper sack and 8' of masking tape. Using their communication, problem solving, and engineering skills (plus a bit of creativity) the teams built and named their safes. Then they were dropped from up high.
One egg survived. One egg did not.
There were 134 youth from Tazewell, Peoria, Fulton, Mason, Marshall and Putnam counties at ICC for the annual Clover Clinic. Thank you to the Tazewell 4-H volunteers who helped make it a Super day!
Federation Members: Molly Hoerr, Ethan Smith and Brock Wiegand
