I am soooo excited that summer is here!!! There are so many fun things that are happening now that school is out.
Last weekend I visited the Tremont Co-Op Jr. club and they were working on a cool project. Everyone made sandwich-board posters that they are going to wear while they walk in the Tremont Turkey Festival parade this weekend.
I also got an email and saw some great photos of the Green Valley Purple Ribbons and Toilers club. They sold pork chop sandwiches in Green Valley then all went out for ice cream together.
The Tremont Co-Op Intermediates participated in the St. Jude Walk, in Roanoke, bright and early last Saturday morning.
There are so many new adventures to experience all summer long. I challenge you to try lots of new things this summer. Whether it is with your 4-H club, your family, your friends or by yourself, be creative, help others, stay active, stay safe and have fun! I know that is what I'm planning to do this summer.
