  • 2013 Annual Trial Garden
    The annual flower trial area is a source of ideas and information for industry professionals. The goal of the trials is to evaluate new and standard vegetative and seed propagated annual flower varieties for their outdoor performance in a full sun location. A wide array of annual plant material is presented so industry professionals can evaluate and note those that might have commercial application. The information is also very useful for the home gardener. The site was developed by Greg Stack, Extension Educator, Horticulture.

    The Horticulture Fact Sheets website was written by Jim Schmidt, Extension Specialist, Home Horticulture/4-H. The website includes 10 different fact sheets focusing on topics such as onions and related crops; harvesting fruit; growing herbs at home; planting vegetable seeds; and harvesting vegetables.

    This new website includes a directory of 33 perennial, annual and honeysuckle vines as well as a discussion of how to select a vine for the home landscape. It includes information about support structures, vines on buildings, planting, maintenance, and methods of attachment. The site was developed by Greg Stack, Extension Horticulturist.
