Pope-Hardin 4-H International Night
International Night will be held April 1, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at Community Chapel Church Fellowship Hall Rt. 34 & Rt. 146.
Each club is asked to choose a country and prepare a display for this evening. No two clubs may do presentations on the same country so as soon as your club has decided their country please contact the office with their choice by March 1. Clubs are also asked to provide traditional food for tasting by all participants.
After all clubs have given a presentation about their country the "tasting party" will begin. Approximately 30 members, parents and guests have attended in the past so keep that in mind when preparing food. The Extension office will provide water and table service.
If your club needs special items please have the club provide those items!
If you need reasonable accommodations to attend or have special dietary needs please contact the office by March 25.

4-H Camp Counselors Needed
Youth ages 16(by camp date) and older can apply for 4-H Camp Counselor Positions. 4-H Youth Camp will be held at W.O.W. Little Egypt Camp, West Frankfort, Illinois. The Camp Counselor application is available at the following website as a pdf form. http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/regions/4h/camp/
Applicants should be able to type directly into the form and print it out from the website. Just as a reminder – they are due March 1.
A Baby Sitter Clinic is scheduled for April 5. (This a Monday and a non school attendance day.) Debbie Simmons Gray, University of Illinois Extension Educator will be conducting the activities of the clinic.
It is scheduled for April 5, 2010, 9:00am-3:00pm at the Little Chapel Church located near Harrisburg. Youth must be age 12 and older to attend. There is a $5.00 fee per youth.

Midwinter 4-H Rabbit Show

Open to any 4-H youth exhibitor or youth 8 to 18 years of age. This is an entry fee show and all entry fees will be awarded as prize money, along with trophies. Entry fees are $1.00 per rabbit. All rabbits must be in the building and entry forms completed prior to 10:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:00 a.m.
Wabash County 4-H Dog Agility Club will be serving food all day during the show.
There will be a raffle of some very nice rabbit supplies and a vendor will be selling cages and rabbit supplies. Mini workshops will also be conducted.

4-H Day With the Cardinals
4-H Day With the Cardinals is set for Saturday, May 22, 2010.
It is to be an afternoon game, and the Redbirds are playing the Los Angeles Angels at Busch Stadium.

Individual and enrollment forms, Club Officers, Committee forms, Indication of Financial Activity forms, etc., are all due to the Extension office.
Project Choice Forms are due May 1.
